Walton Leads Princeton as Ivy Championship Tournament Closes

Maya Walton and Sophie Siminoff both finished in the top 10 as the Princeton women's golf team finished fourth at the Ivy League Championships Sunday at The Ridge at Back Brook in Ringoes, N.J.
Harvard won the title at +37 by six strokes over Dartmouth with Columbia third at +49 and Princeton fourth at +53. The Tigers improved their score in each of the three rounds, from a 309 Friday to a 306 Saturday and a 302 Sunday, but it wasn't enough as Dartmouth also dropped its score daily and Harvard charged into the lead with a final-round 290.
Harvard's Elizabeth Wang won medalist honors at +2 by two strokes over Columbia's Jennifer Wang at +4. Dartmouth's Kaitlyn Lees was third at +5 with Yale's Ami Gianchandani fourth at +6. Walton and Penn's Rina Jung were next at +7.
