NCAA Destination Announced for Ivy Champ Tigers: Northwestern In Seattle

A first-round match with Northwestern will open the NCAA tournament for the back-to-back Ivy League champion Princeton women's tennis team in Seattle.
Washington is the tournament's 10th seed and will host the foursome, which includes Army West Point as the Huskies' first-round matchup. The first-round match is set for Friday at 2 p.m. PT/5 p.m. ET with Army West Point-Washington to follow. The second-round match will be Saturday at 4 p.m. PT/7 p.m. ET.
It'll be Princeton's fifth NCAA tournament trip in the last six years, seventh in the last 11 years and ninth all-time. Princeton won its first NCAA tournament match in 2014, defeating Arizona State at Alabama.
The Tigers won the Ivy by sweeping through the league with a 7-0 record for the second year in a row. Princeton is ranked No. 33 by the ITA while Northwestern is ranked 29th and Washington is ranked 11th.
Northwestern leads the series with Princeton 3-1, but the teams haven't met since 2010. Princeton leads the series with Washington 2-1, but the teams' last meeting was in 1990. Princeton and Army West Point have never met.
