Grant, Walsh, Donahey Earn First-Team Honors as Seven Tigers Named All-Ivy

For the second time in three years, seven members of the Princeton softball team have earned All-Ivy League honors.
The number matches Princeton's 2017 honors haul as the program's most since getting eight players recognized in 2008.Â
First Team All-Ivy
Keeley Walsh, Sr., C, 2016 honorable mention, 2017 second team
A .328 hitter in the league, Walsh hit .282 overall in finishing second on the team with seven doubles while driving in a team-high 24 runs and slugging a team-best .418. Walsh had a .988 fielding percentage, best among any Tiger with at least 20 chances. Her seven doubles tied a career high from her sophomore season.
Kaylee Grant, Sr., 1B, 2016 first team, 2017 honorable mention
Along with hitting .415 in Ivy play, Grant hit .380 overall to stand second on the team in batting average while getting a third-best 35 hits, third-best 18 RBI, second-best 19 walks, and had a .984 fielding percentage. Her .380 average was the highest of her career, as were her 19 walks and .509 on-base percentage.
Megan Donahey, Jr., OF, 2017 first team, 2018 second team
Donahey was one of two Tigers, along with Allison Harvey, to start all 41 games on the season. She led the team in batting average, at .385, in hits, at 45, and in walks, at 22, for a .479 on-base percentage that was second on the team. In Ivy play, Donahey hit a team-best .422 while leading the team in hits, with 27. Donahey's 29 runs scored were a career high, as was her .385 batting average and her 22 walks.
Second Team All-Ivy
Allie Reynolds, So., P, first All-Ivy honor
Reynolds threw 149 2/3 of Princeton's 248 2/3 innings on the year, finishing with a 4.72 ERA. In Ivy play, Reynolds logged 99 of the team's 138 innings with a 4.03 ERA and a team-high 39 strikeouts. Reynolds lowered her overall ERA from 5.25 during her freshman season while throwing more innings, 149 2/3 to 125 1/3.
Kaitlyn Waslawski, Sr., OF, first All-Ivy honor
While hitting .318 in Ivy play, Waslawski was fifth on the team overall with a .267 batting average, starting all 40 games in which she played. Waslawski led the team with 12 stolen bases, finishing with 56 for her career to tie the Princeton record held by Tara Christie '97 and Bevin Keenen '98.Â
Ali Blanchard, Fr., P/UT, first All-Ivy honor
Blanchard had a strong rookie season in the circle, making 13 appearances and throwing a no-hitter against Towson on March 17. Blanchard tossed shutout in three of her four Ivy appearances, against Yale, Brown and Penn, and struck out a team-high 73 batters on the season overall for a strikeouts-per-seven rate of 8.15.

Allison Harvey, Jr., SS, 2017 second team, 2018 second team
A .385 hitter in Ivy play, Harvey joined Megan Donahey as the only two Tigers to start all 41 games, hitting .305 for the season overall to stand third on the team in that category. Harvey's 36 hits were second on the team, and she led the club with eight doubles and was second with 21 RBI.

Megan Donahey, Jr., OF, 2017 first team, 2018 second team
Donahey was one of two Tigers, along with Allison Harvey, to start all 41 games on the season. She led the team in batting average, at .385, in hits, at 45, and in walks, at 22, for a .479 on-base percentage that was second on the team.
