Princeton returns the 2018 Ivy League Player of the Year Kevin O'Toole, who had 11 points a year ago. Though the team did lose two of its top three scorers, the squad does have eight of the top 10 back in the lineup. First-team All-Ivy League defender Richard Wolf and nearly the entire defensive corps is back, including rising seniors Benjamin Issroff, Bobby Hickson and Cole Morokhovich – who were all honorable mention All-Ivy last year. Goalkeeper Jacob Schachner is back for his senior season. The All-Ivy selection had six shutouts in 2018 and led the league in goals against average with a 0.71.
The Tigers open the season at No. 10 ranked Duke on Friday, September 6.
The first home game of the season brings Rider to Myslik Field on Wednesday, September 11 at 7 p.m. It is one of eight home games for the Tigers, which also includes Drexel on Tuesday, September 24, Delaware on Tuesday, October 8, Lehigh on Tuesday, Oct. 15, Columbia on Saturday, Oct. 19, Virginia Tech on Tuesday, Oct. 29 and Yale on Saturday, Nov. 16.
