Tiger Trio Included in ITA Preseason Rankings

Sophomore Karl Poling, junior Ryan Seggerman and senior Payton Holden were all included in the ITA preseason rankings announced Tuesday.
Holden and Seggerman received the highest billing, ranked 15th in the nation in singles. The pair were first-team All-Ivy doubles honorees, reaching as high as No. 17 in the ITA rankings in mid-April and qualifying for the NCAA Doubles Tournament. There, they defeated UNC Asheville's No. 4-ranked Oli Nolan and Henry Patten in the first round in what was Princeton's first win in the event since 2001.
Poling is 73rd on the singles list and was ranked as high as No. 82 as a rookie last season, defeating No. 53 Charlie Broom of Dartmouth in April and No. 87 Alan Nunez Aguilera of St. John's in March.
Seggerman, ranked 105th in singles, was ranked 114th during the spring of his sophomore season. Last spring, he faced nine ITA-ranked singles opponents and had a win over Charlotte's No. 70 Luca Keist in February.
