SERIES INFORMATION
Friday marks marks the 211th all-time meeting between Princeton and Dartmouth in men's ice hockey. The Tigers are 89-105-16 against the Big Green all-time, and hold a slight 45-44-8 edge at home. Princeton had won three in a row against the Big Green before Dartmouth claimed the last two -- including a 3-1 win in Hanover in November.
On Saturday, Princeton and Harvard will meet for the 230th time. The Crimson hold a 58-159-12 lead in the series
CRESSEY CONNECTS
Senior Jackson Cressey is second on the team in points with 12 through 15 games. His eight assists lead the team, and he is the only Tiger to have scored on both the power play and penalty kill this season. After going three games without a point from 11/23-30, Cressey has now notched a point in four of his last five games, including the game-winning goal against AIC. With 106 career points, he is tied for 13th on the Tigers' all-time list and he is one away from the No. 11 spot. He's eighth on the career assists list with 76 and is one away from tying for No. 6.
ANDONOVSKI ACCUMULATES MULTI-POINT GAMES
Sophomore Corey Andonovski had two assists at Quinnipiac on 12/29, giving him five multi-point games this season and eight career multi-point games in 37 appearances.
FERLAND IS FEELING IT
Goalie Ryan Ferland had a career-high 44 saves at Quinnipiac last time out, matching the number of saves he made over his previous two appearances. He has 32 career games with 30+ saves and now has five games with over 40 saves in his career.
GRANDE PLANS
After going five games without a point, Liam Grande found his stride in Belfast and hasn't looked back. He has six points over his seven games, including a goal and an assist at Quinnipiac on 12/29. The multi-point effort against QU was his first since 3/2/18 against Brown in the ECAC playoffs.
GERMAIN MAN
Jeremy Germain found the back of the net against Quinnipiac on 12/28, his first goal since 2/16/18 against RPI. The goal had extra meaning for the Hamden, Conn. native and grandson of Jim Armstrong -- 14-year head coach at Quinnipiac.
KILLING IT
Princeton is 55-for-65 (84.6) on the penalty kill this season, ranking No. 19 in the country. The Tigers have killed 17 of their last 18 penalties -- including a 7-for-7 performance on 12/6 against Colorado College with the lone PP goal allowed coming on 12/28 during a 5-minute powerplay for Quinnipiac.
POWERING UP
Princeton has scored a power-play goal in four of its last six games, and now has at least one PPG in 9-of-15 games this season. Corey Andonovski leads the team with three power play goals while Christian O'Neill and Derek Topatigh each have two.
BLOCK PARTY
Freshman Pito Walton leads the Tigers with 20 blocked shots, including 11 over his last six games. Captain Derek Topatigh has 18. Matthew Thom has 17 blocks -- including six against Colgate in Belfast. Luke Keenan leads the forward group with 12.
