ITA Tabs Women’s Tennis at No. 17 in National Rankings

TEMPE, Ariz. – After defeating a pair of top-20 opponents to open its spring season, the Princeton University women's tennis team was rewarded with a spot in the national top-25 Wednesday afternoon when it checked in at No. 17 in the Oracle/Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) team rankings.
Previously unranked, the Tigers overcame the No. 11 University of Southern California 4-3 on Saturday, January 25 and the No. 17 University of Washington 4-3 on Sunday, January 26 at the ITA Kick-Off Weekend in Seattle, Washington.
Princeton's victories booked it a trip to the ITA National Indoor Championships in Chicago, Illinois, from Friday, February 7 to Monday, February 10. The Tigers will be one of 16 teams to compete at the championships.

The Tigers will travel to Evanston, Illinois, to take on Northwestern University (1-1) on Saturday, February 1.
