No. T-11 Men’s Volleyball to Face No. T-11 Penn State, Saint Francis

PRINCETON, N.J. – The No. T-11 Princeton University men's volleyball team is set for a pair of upcoming Eastern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (EIVA) matches, first taking on the No. T-11 Pennsylvania State University then following with a match against Saint Francis University.
The Tigers will take on the Nittany Lions on Friday, February 14 at 7 p.m. inside Rec Hall then the Red Flash on Saturday, February 15 at 4 p.m. inside DeGol Arena.
Tiger Notes
Princeton is 5-4 on the season and 3-0 in EIVA matches. Most recently, the Tigers defeated the New Jersey Institute of Technology 3-0 (25-21, 25-22, 26-24) on Friday, February 7 in Newark, New Jersey.
Senior George Huhmann leads Princeton in both kills and service aces with 103 and 17 while junior Joe Kelly has a team-high 293 assists and 50 digs. Senior Greg Luck leads the Tigers in blocks with 39.
Last Time They Met
Princeton most recently met No. T-11 Penn State in last season's EIVA championship match, defeating the Nittany Lions 3-2 (28-26, 22-25, 25-18, 20-25, 15-13) on Saturday, April 20, 2019, inside Dillon Gymnasium.
The Tigers most recent match against the Red Flash was in the semifinals of last season's EIVA Tournament with Princeton coming out on top, 3-0 (25-23, 25-21, 25-19).
Scouting No. T-11 Penn State
The Nittany Lions are 4-6 on the season, falling 3-2 (19-25, 23-25, 25-19, 25-19, 15-9) to the No. 3 University of California, Santa Barbara on Saturday, February 8.
Penn State is led in kills by Brett Wildman, who has 134 on the season. Cole Bogner leads the team in assists with 377 while Jason Donorovich has a team-high 15 service aces along with a team-high 32 blocks. Will Bantle leads the Nittany Lions in digs with 76.
Scouting Saint Francis
Saint Francis is 3-6 on the season, most recently defeating St. Francis College Brooklyn 3-0 (25-20, 25-14, 25-21) inside Degol Arena on Saturday, February 8. Prior to facing the Tigers, Saint Francis will play the New Jersey Institute of Technology on Friday, February 14.
Michael Fisher leads the Red Flash in both kills and service aces with 122 and eight. Saint Francis is led in digs and assists by Roman Szwabinsky with 40 and 240 while Brandon Dunz leads the team in blocks with 27.
