No. 22 Women’s Swimming & Diving Ready for Ivy Championships

PRINCETON, N.J. – The No. 22 Princeton University women's swimming & diving team is set to compete at the Ivy League Championships inside the Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatics Center on the campus of Brown University.
The championship will begin on Wednesday, February 19 and culminate on Saturday, February 22. Prelims and finals on Thrusday and Friday will air on ESPN+.

Top Times in the Ivy League
Several Tigers have produced Ivy League-best times this season, including Nicole Venema's times of 22.38 in the 50 freestyle and 48.61 in the 100 freestyle. Ellie Marquardt also tops the conference in the 200 freestyle in 1:46.05 seconds, the 500 freestyle in 4:40.56 seconds, the 1,000 freestyle in 9:44.05 seconds and the 1,650 freestyle in 16:16.71 seconds.
Christie Chong holds an Ivy-best time in the 100 breaststroke of 1:00.60 seconds and Christina Bradley swam a conference-best time of 53.19 in the 100 butterfly.
In the 200 medley relay the team of Gianna Garcia, Chong, Jennifer Secrest and Venema currently hold the top time in the Ivy League of 1:39.21 seconds.
Along with the Tigers top times, Princeton has two-to-four swimmers in the top-eight in every event.

The Tigers are a perfect 7-0 against Ivy League teams this season and will look to carry that momentum over to the Championship.

Last Year at the Championships
The Tigers finished third at the Ivy League Championships in 2018-19 with 1,117 points. The Tigers swept the diving events and Mimi Lin was honored as the Rick Gilbert High Point Diver of the Meet after she places first on 3-meter. Sine Scribbick also earned a win for Princeton on 1-meter
Regan Barney placed first in the 400 IM for the second-straight season
