No. 28 Men's Tennis Overcomes No. 44 Auburn, 4-2

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – In its opening match at the Blue Gray Classic the No. 28 Princeton University men's tennis team earned an impressive 4-2 victory over No. 44 Auburn University.
Due to cold weather in the morning, the match start time was pushed back and only singles was played. The Tigers played doubles against their next opponent, the University of Mississippi, and lost the doubles point. Play will resume tomorrow with singles.
Singles
Karl Poling picked up a 6-1, 6-2 victory at No. 1 over Tim Dollman then at the No. 4 position Will Peters earned a 6-3, 6-4 victory over Finn Murgett. Ryan Seggerman outlasted Tyler Stice 6-3, 6-7, 6-2 at No. 2 and the No. 6 position Payton Holden overcame Diego Chavarria 6-2, 406, 7-6.
