Glory Becomes Princeton's First Hodge Award Finalist

For the first time in the 26-season history of the top award in college wrestling, Princeton has a finalist for the Dan Hodge Award.
Sophomore Patrick Glory, Princeton's first Ivy League Wrestler of the Year since 1986, is one of eight finalists for the Hodge Award after finishing undefeated at 24-0 at 125. Among those 24 wins, 13 came by fall or technical fall and four more were major-decision wins, making 17 of his 24 wins bonus-point victories.
Ranked in the top five in the nation by Intermat all year, Glory defeated six fellow Intermat top-20 wrestlers on his way to a clean sweep of the Ivy League and his second consecutive EIWA title. Glory earned the second seed at the NCAA Championships, which were cancelled due to the COVID-19 virus.
Voting for the Hodge Award will begin Monday at 1 p.m. ET at win-magazine.com, and fans will be part of that vote. Details on how to vote will be posted here on GoPrincetonTigers.com and on the Princeton Athletics social media accounts.
