Harvey Earns Ivy League Player of the Week Honor
March 02, 2020 | Softball
Following a weekend in which she led the team with six runs driven and 13 total bases, Allison Harvey has been named the Ivy League softball Player of the Week.Â
Harvey had seven hits on the weekend, good for second on the team, with a .350/.381/.650 slash line. Two home runs on the weekend helped fuel Harvey's 13 total bases, and one of those homers was a two-run shot to beat Towson in Princeton's second game of the day Friday.
Harvey has an active seven-game hitting streak and has driven in runs in five of the last six games heading into the spring trip, which will begin March 14 in Florida.Â
A three-time All-Ivy Leaguer, the weekly honor adds to a career that includes Ivy League Rookie of the Year recognition in 2017 and second-team All-Ivy honors in 2017 and 2018.
