March 23, 2020 | Wrestling
Just days after being announced as the first Hodge Award finalist in program history, Patrick Glory is now also the first EIWA Wrestler of the Year in program history.
Glory was Princeton's first Ivy League Wrestler of the Year since 1986, going 24-0, winning an EIWA title for the second year in a row, and getting bonus points in 17 of those wins with 13 coming by fall or technical fall.
Ranked in the top five in the nation by Intermat all year and finishing the season ranked second, Glory defeated six fellow Intermat top-20 wrestlers on his way to a clean sweep of the Ivy League and his second consecutive EIWA title.
Glory earned the second seed in the NCAA Championships, which were to be held Mar. 19-21 in Minneapolis before being cancelled due to COVID-19.
