James Andersen '84, Founder and Managing Partner of Clearview Capital. I live in Wilton, Conn. with my wife and five sons -- 24 (lives in Charlotte), 22 (Senior at William and Mary), 20 (Junior at William and Mary), 18 (Junior in HS) and 16 (Sophomore in HS)

Position played and major and thesis topic:
Goalkeeper. I majored in Civil Engineering with a certificate in Geological Engineering. My thesis was on "Geologic and Tectonic Differences Between the Eastern and Western United States – Implications for Earthquake Engineering"

Most memorable game at Princeton.
Rutgers at home my senior year. Rutgers was ranked in the top ten so Bedford Field was mobbed. The stands were filled and fans were on the sidelines and behind both goals. Some Rutgers fans were harassing me until my Cottage Club buddies "took care" of the situation. 0-0 draw and I made perhaps my best college save with a couple minutes left in OT.

Toughest loss:
Hartwick at home senior year. My 280-minute scoreless streak came to an end on a penalty kick in overtime. I guessed correctly but the goal was scored off the post.

Funniest on-field story while at Princeton:
Not quite on-field. I was riding the bench junior year with Tom Roberts in goal. He got hurt so I had to warm up quickly, but my gloves were full of tootsie rolls that I had to get rid of. Coach Muse was not pleased….

Best players on the team during your era:
John and Jim Bowen, Nam Ki Hong, Tom Poz, Yuri Fishman

Most underrated player on the team during your era: Why?
Brian McGovern – not the greatest soccer skills, but hustle and heart like nobody else had. Always gave us a spark when he came in the game.

It goes really fast, take it all in and realize how fortunate you are to experience this!
