Men’s Tennis to Play at ITA Northeast Regional Championships

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University men's tennis team will continue its fall season at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Northeast Regional Championships in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The championships will run from Thursday, October 14, until Saturday, October 16, and will be hosted by the University of Pennsylvania.
Format
Qualifying singles will start with a draw of 64, and consist of two rounds. The top-16 will then move on to the main draw. In the main draw, the top 32 seeds will get a bye on Friday, October 15, and begin play Saturday, October 16.
Freshman Alan Kam will open play for the Tigers on Thursday, October 14, at 9 a.m. in qualifying singles against Binghampton University's Dan Pergel.
Senior Bill Duo and freshman Filippos Astreinidis will begin play on Friday, October 15, then seniors Karl Poling, Damian Rodriguez, Justin Barki, along with junior Thomas Bosancic will commence competition on Saturday, October 16.
