Princeton Women's Crew Picks Up Second Place Finish At Head Of Charles

BOSTON – The Princeton women's crew team had three boats race at the Head of Charles on Sunday.
The highlight of day was the Tigers' 8+ group of Lucy Koven, Camille VanderMeer, Claira Fucetola, Flo Donald, Katherine George, Greta Jaanson, Katharine Kalap, Zoe Scheske and Hannah Diaz finishing second (15:48.09), trailing just Stanford (15:41.37). The squad's second boat in the race was 12th (16:40.55).
Princeton's 4+ boat placed eighth overall (19:00.16) and sixth among collegiate squads. The winning boat in the event featured Kelsey Reelick '14, who helped the Tigers to a silver medal at the 2013 NCAA Championships.
The Shea Rowing Center will host the Princeton Chase on Nov. 7 on Lake Carnegie.
