Caras Secures NWPC Rookie of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. – Following an excellent trip to California, George Caras has been named Northeast Water Polo Conference Rookie of the Week.
During Princeton's West Coast trip, Caras logged 10 goals and 16 drawn ejections as the team posted wins over Santa Clara, No. 19 Air Force and Biola. He posted a hat trick and three drawn ejections at No. 2 Cal. He also added two tallies and four drawn ejections in a 12-11 win over Santa Clara before ending the weekend with a hat trick vs. Biola.
Princeton is 19-6 on the season and 4-1 in the NWPC. The Tigers wrap up the regular season with five straight conference battles. Next weekend, Princeton heads on the road to take on Harvard (Oct. 30, 9 a.m.), MIT (Oct. 30, 7:30 p.m.), and Brown (Oct. 31, 3 p.m.).
