Barki & Poling Advance to Consolation Stage Round of 16 at ITA Men's All-American Championships

TULSA, Okla. – Seniors Justin Barki and No. 101 Karl Poling of the Princeton University men's tennis team advanced to the main draw consolation stage Round of 16 Thursday at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Men's All-American Championships.

On route to the Round of 16, Barki gained a 5-2 lead in the first set before his opponent, Francois Musitelli of Kentucky, retired due to injury. Barki then had a bye to advance.

Poling overcame USC's Lodewijk Westrat 6-1 in the first set, before Westrate retired due to injury. A bye then followed for Poling as he moved onto the Round of 16.
