Women's Tennis Continues Play at Texas A&M Fall Invitational

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – In the second day of competition at the Texas A&M Fall Invitational, the Princeton University women's tennis team earned three doubles victories and won six singles matches.
All three Tiger pairings won their matches against Baylor opponents. The duo of Nathalie Rodilosso and Brianna Shvets defeated Paula Baranano and Alicia H Linana 6-2. Meanwhile, the team of Grace Joyce and Michelle Sorokko downed Anita Sahdiieva and Alina Shcherbinina 6-4. Finally, the pairing of Skyler Grishuk/Maia Sung secured a 6-2 victory against Olivia Malm and Ana Carmen Zamburek.
In singles, Grace Joyce defeated Isa Di Laura from Texas A&M, 6-4, 6-4. Then, in a marathon match, Skyler Grishuk outlasted the 108th ranked player in the nation, Texas A&M's Katya Townsend 5-7, 7-6 (7-2), 6-2. Brianna Shvets, ranked 102nd in the nation, downed Tatum Rice of Arkansas 7-6 (11-9), 6-2.
The Tigers remained undefeated against Baylor in the individual matches as well; Maia Sung dropped Ana Carmen Zamburek 6-2, 6-2, Michelle Sorokko defeated Olivia Malm 6-2, 6-4, and Nathalie Rodilosso finished off Hannah Pinto 6-2, 6-1.
