Women’s Tennis Opens Play at ITA Fall Nationals

SAN DIEGO, Calif. – The Princeton University women's tennis team had a successful opening day at the 2021 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) National Fall Championships Friday at the Barnes Tennis Complex, as second-seeded junior Daria Frayman advanced to the Round of 16 in singles as well as in doubles with junior Grace Joyce.
The duo of junior Frayman and Joyce outlasted UCLA's Vanessa Ong and Elise Wagle, 2-6, 7-5, 10-7. In singles, second-seeded Frayman overcame Elaine Chervinsky of the University of Virginia, 6-1, 6-2.
