Women's Open Crew's 1V8+ Earns Top Time at Princeton Chase

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Shea Rowing Center hosted the Princeton Chase on Lake Carnegie on Sunday afternoon.
Princeton's 1V8+ Boat dominated its event, crossing the finish line at 13:50.37, 19 seconds in front of second place Brown (14:09.41). The team's 2V8 was fourth at 14:23.29 while the 3V8 was ninth (14:34.01) and the women's lightweight 8+ snagged 10th (14:34.08).
The 2x group easily disposed the field with a time of 16:51.46, 11 seconds ahead of Penn while the 2- (16:54.94) also defeated the Quakers (17:39.05) by a large margin.
Head coach Lori Dauphiny's 1x (18:24.69) and 4x (15:22.19) boats secured quality times.
