'50 Years' Alumna Spotlight: Jen Babik '95

At Princeton...
• Helped the team to Ivy League titles in 1992, 1994 and 1995, to the NCAA tournament in 1994, and to the Women's College World Series in 1995
• Earned a Rhodes Scholarship to study at Oxford and was a molecular biology major at Princeton
• Played alto saxophone in the university's jazz ensemble
• Was a three-time Academic All-Ivy honoree in softball and twice in field hockey
• Winner of Princeton University's Pyne Prize, "the highest general distinction conferred by Princeton on an undergraduate" and "awarded to the senior who has most clearly manifested excellent scholarship, strength of character and effective leadership"
• 1995 third-team All-America
• Three-time Academic All-America, earning first-team honors in 1994 and 1995 and second team in 1993.
• Four-time All-Ivy Leaguer, earning first-team honors in 1992, 1994 and 1995, and second-team honors in 1993
• 1995 Patton-Poole Women's Softball Award winner as the team's MVP
• Holds the program record for most games played in a career (228), most at-bats in a career (722), most at-bats in a season (193), most runs scored in a season (59), most triples in a career (21), most walks in a season (35), most career assists (569), and most assists in a season (165), and shares the program record for most games played in a season (62, 1995)

• Serves as an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of California at San Francisco
