RESULTS
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Freshman Kate Joyce of the Princeton University women's track & field team competed in the javelin Thursday afternoon at the NCAA East Regional at Visit Jax Track at Hodges Stadium.
Joyce finished 16th out of 47 competitors with a best throw of 48.87 meters, coming on her third attempt. Her first throw went 43.96 meters and her second 46.12 meters.
Joyce is the school record holder in the javelin; her throw of 50.44 meters from the Princeton Invitational on Sunday, April 25 at Weaver Stadium has her No. 1 on the Tigers' all-time list.
