Heavies Collect Two Top-10 Finishes At IRAs

WEST WINDSOR – The Princeton men's heavyweight team wrapped up action during day two of the IRA Championships today.
In rainy conditions, the 2V8 secured sixth overall in its Grand Final (6:36.45). Washington took the gold, followed by Dartmouth and California. The 2V8 has gone 11 consecutive IRAs with top 10 finishes.
The V8 (6.11.71) placed second in its Petite Final 2.8 seconds off of Boston University (6:08.82), but in front of Brown. It's 10th straight time that Princeton's V8 has finished in the top 10 at IRAs.
Princeton's 4+ crossed the finish line in fifth place in its race (7:34.32) behind Stanford, Mercyhurst, George Washington and Colgate.
