Alarie Helps Perfumerias Avenida Win Liga Femenia Championship

Bella Alarie helped Perfumerias Avenida secure the Liga Femenia Championship as the team took down Valencia B.C., 76-61, today.

Avenida took the best of three series by winning the last two contests. The squad dropped game one, 67-64, before rallying with a 76-74 decision in game two.

Alarie registered a team-best 14 points in today's victory. She was one of four players in double figures while two others added nine points each.

This was Avenida's seventh division title, its last coming in 2017-18. The team has not finished lower than second since 2004-05.

Alarie has now won a conference or division championship in each of her past four playing seasons.

The fifth overall pick in the 2020 WNBA Draft will now return home to the United States where she will join the Dallas Wings who start their season on May 14 vs. the Los Angeles Sparks.
