Women’s XC Wins 2021 HYP Meet

FULL RESULTS
PRINCETON, N.J. – It was an incredible Saturday morning at West Windsor Fields, as the Princeton University women's cross country team scored 36 points to win the HYP Meet.
It was a tight finish in the 4.8k race, as Harvard came in second with 37 points and Yale third with 49.
"We are immensely grateful for the opportunity to compete at home with the support of our fantastic fans and proud alums," said Head Coach Brad Hunt. "Our young and inexperienced squad managed the emotion of the moment to earn a hard-fought victory in the fierce tradition of HYP. We look forward to building upon the success of today with our eyes on championship season come October and November. A sincere thank you to the administration and facilities staff for making this moment possible. It is great to be a Tiger!"
For the Tigers, Fiona Max finished third in 16:18.8, and Lucca Fulkerson took fourth in 16:29.3. Abby Loveys also finished in the top-10, earning a sixth-place finish with a time of 16.35.6. The duo of Angie Allen and Lexi Allen finished 11th and 12th with times of 16:52.3 and 17:00.3 respectively.
With a time of 17:03.6, senior Caroline Timm finished 14th while Gillian Wagner finished 18th in 17:16.9. Luci Doogan finished 20th in 17:21.1, and Maggie Liebich took 22nd in 17:29.0. Coming in 31st was Isabel Max, who finished with a time of 18:26.7.
