Rookie Liu Leads Tigers Entering Final Round at Penn State

Freshman Victoria Liu leads Princeton and is tied for fourth overall heading into Sunday's final round at the Nittany Lion Invitational on Penn State's White Course.

The tournament is the season opener for the Tigers, who are fifth in the 14-team field.

The first of two rounds for Liu saw five birdies and just one bogey on the way to the top-four standing.

Host Penn State holds the top spot on the team leaderboard and the top two spots on the individual side. The Nittany Lions are at -9 as a team, nine strokes in front of even-par Delaware. Mathilde Delavallade leads the field at -7, one stroke in front of teammate Sarah Willis at -6. Margot Bechadergue of Seton Hall is third at -5, with Liu and Delaware's Oihana Etzezarreta tied for fourth at -4.

Sunday's final round will begin with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. Live scoring is available here.
