TEMPE, Ariz. – Senior Karl Poling of the Princeton University men's tennis team was featured in the 2021 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) men's preseason singles rankings, as announced by the organization Tuesday.
Poling earned the No. 101 ranking in singles. Prior to the cancellation of the 2019-20 season, Poling was ranked No. 113 in singles.
The 2018-19 Ivy League Rookie of the Year was also selected to play in the main draw singles and qualifying doubles with senior Damian Rodriguez at the 2021 ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Poling and Rodriguez will be joined at the ITA All-American Championships by senior Justin Barki and junior Thomas Bosancic.
The Tigers open their season at the Orange Lawn Invitational on Friday, September 10, at the Orange Lawn Tennis Club in South Orange, New Jersey.
