Women's Rowing Announces Hiring Of Kalfaian ’17 and Hope ’92

PRINCETON – The Princeton Women's Rowing team has announced the hiring of Anna Kalfaian '17 and Steve Hope '92.
Kalfaian '17 was four-time medal winner at the Ivy League Championships during her time at Princeton. She helped the V4B win silver in 2014, the 3V8 earn bronze in 2015, the V4A secure silver in 2016 and bronze in 2017. She also led the V4A to the NCAA Grand Final as a senior.
Hope '92 was a lightweight rower for the Tigers, serving as captain and chosen for the Sikes Medal as the MVP during his time with Princeton. He is an USRowing Level 2 coach with years of experience. Most recently, he spent time coaching the Norcal Crew and Palo Alto Rowing Club.
"Both of them bring knowledge, energy and experience to a program that they were a part of as undergraduates and now as coaches," said Princeton head coach Lori Dauphiny. "They are both ready and pumped to work with this team."
Princeton begins the 2022 season with a tri-race vs. Brown and Ohio State on Lake Carnegie on Mar. 26.
