Erynne Lee has joined the Princeton women's golf coaching staff as the team's assistant coach.

All-American, Pro Golfer Lee Joins Women's Staff as Assistant Coach

Erynne Lee, an All-American golfer during her collegiate days and who has gone on to a career on the professional tours, has joined the Princeton women's golf program as its assistant coach.
"We are thrilled to welcome Erynne to our team," Princeton head coach Erika DeSanty said. "Her experience competing successfully at the highest levels will continue to push and elevate our program. Beyond her competitive excellence, Erynne brings a passion for teaching and positive energy, qualities we hope for in every team member!"
Lee has competed in 26 LPGA events during her professional career. At the 2018 Bank of Hope Founders Cup at the Wildfire Golf Club in Phoenix, Ariz., Lee tied for seventh, marking her top finish to date on the LPGA circuit. On the Symetra Tour, Lee has competed in 73 events, turning in 10 top-10 finishes, including wins at the FireKeepers Casino Hotel Championship and the Donald Ross Centennial, both in 2017, and the 2016 IOA Championship.Â
"It is truly an honor and privilege to have this opportunity to start my coaching journey at Princeton and to be part of a highly regarded community," Lee said. "I just want to thank Coach DeSanty and Princeton Athletics for having me, and I am very much looking forward to getting started here."
During her collegiate career at UCLA, Lee was a three-time WGCA All-America, earning first-team recognition in 2012 and 2013, was a first-team All-Pac-12 honoree in 2013, was the Pac-12 Freshman of the Year in 2012, and was the NGCA Freshman of the Year in 2012. UCLA qualified for the NCAA Championship all four years with Lee in the program, finishing in the top 10 three times with a high finish of third during her junior year, and twice winning or tying for NCAA regional team titles. Lee played in the NCAA Championship all four years, tying for fourth individually in 2013.Â
In international competition, Lee was a member of the U.S. team at the 2014 Curtis Cup, was the stroke-play medalist while playing for the U.S. team at the 2013 Copa de las Americas, was part of the U.S. team at the 2012 Women's World Amateur Championship, and was part of the U.S. team for the 2008 Junior Ryder Cup.
Prior to UCLA, where she earned her degree in psychology in 2015, the Silverdale, Wash., native and alumna of Central Kitsap High School was a two-time U.S. Women's Open qualifier, in 2008 and 2011, was a five-time AJGA All-American, and was twice named the Pacific Northwest Golf Association and Washington State Golf Association's girls Player of the Year.
