PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University men's volleyball team will host its home opener on Sunday, January 23, inside Dillon Gymnasium at 2 p.m. against Daemen College.
In their most recent match, the Tigers overcame the University of California, Santa Barbara, 3-1 (22-25, 25-18, 31-29, 25-13) on Wednesday, January 19, inside Robinson Gymnasium.
Through four matches, sophomore Ben Harrington averages a team-high 3.25 kills per set, while senior Joe Kelly leads the team in assists per set with 7.60. Junior Brady Wedbush has a team-high seven service aces.
Defensively, sophomore Josh Coan leads the Tigers in blocks per set with 1.0, while first year Matt Suh averages a team-best 1.60 digs per set.
Scouting Daemen
Prior to taking on Princeton, Daemen faces American International College on Friday, January 21, then Vassar College and Sacred Heart University on Saturday, January 22.
In the 2021 season, the Wildcats had a 10-0 record.
Princeton Athletics Attendance Policy Updates Through January 31
Princeton has announced it will be limiting spectators at indoor athletic events to Princeton students, faculty, and staff who are fully compliant with the University's COVID-19 protocols. This attendance restriction will begin immediately and extend through January 31.
Princeton Athletics will continue to work closely with University health and safety administrators to revisit welcoming back full spectator attendance for all winter events as soon as appropriate.
Princeton students, faculty, and staff who are fully compliant with the University's COVID-19 protocols may show their Princeton ID at the door to gain admission to athletics events from now through January 31.
