PRINCETON, N.J. – The No. 23 Princeton University women's tennis team continues its non-conference dual schedule with a pair of matches in the state of North Carolina, as the Tigers take on No. 6 North Carolina State University and No. 8 Duke University.
In their most recent match, the Tigers fell 5-2 at the University of Oklahoma on Wednesday, January 19. Leena Bennetto earned an impressive 7-6 )7-4), 6-2 win over No. 55 Oona Orpana at the No. 4 spot.
Along with its team ranking of No. 23, junior Daria Frayman is ranked No. 4 in singles, freshman Victoria Hu No. 23, and senior Brianna Shvets No. 60. In doubles Frayman and junior Grace Joyce are ranked No. 7.
Scouting the No. 8 Wolfpack
Jaeda Daniel is ranked No. 8 in singles, while Alana Smith checks in at No. 24, and Abigail Rencheli at No. 25. In doubles, Jaeda Daniel and Alana Smith are ranked No. 21.
In 2020-21, the Wolfpack advanced to the NCAA Semifinals. It had a 20-6 overall record along with a 10-3 record in ACC play.

Prior to facing the Tigers, Duke hosts the Ohio State University on Friday, January 21.
