Meyers' Stellar Day Leads Women's Basketball In Rout Over Dartmouth, 78-35

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton Tigers easily took care of the Dartmouth Big Green, 78-35, at Jadwin Gym on Saturday afternoon.

Abby Meyers just missed a double-double with 23 points and nine rebounds, adding five steals and four assists. Kaitlyn Chen (10) and Julia Cunningham (10) also scored in double-figures in the win.

The Tigers scored the first 16 points of the game and led 25-3 after 10 minutes. Princeton continued to expand its lead, holding a 45-11 advantage at halftime. The Tigers outscored the Big Green, 33-24, in the second half en route to victory.

Head coach Carla Berube's squad's 43-point margin of victory is their highest since a 90-42 decision over New Hampshire on Dec. 29, 2018. The Tigers forced 31 turnovers and had 21 steals, one shy of the program record. Princeton dished out 24 assists on 32 made baskets. The home squad had a season-best 12 threes on 24 attempts in the win.

Princeton is now 13-4 and 5-0 in the Ivy League with a six-game winning streak. Dartmouth is now 1-15 and 0-4 in the conference. The Tigers head to Yale next Saturday (Jan. 29). Tip-off is set for 2 p.m.
