Final Round Ahead Tuesday for Women's Golf Team at North Carolina

One round remains for the Princeton women's golf team at North Carolina's Ruth's Chris Tar Heel Invite at the Governor's Club in Chapel Hill, N.C.
Some teams were unable to complete their second rounds Monday due to darkness. Play will resume on Tuesday at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start and continue into the third round.
Princeton stands 13th at +22 in a 14-team field that includes eight programs ranked in Golfstat's Division I top 50. Kentucky, No. 39 in that ranking, is atop the leaderboard entering Tuesday, standing at -4. No. 1 Wake Forest is two shots back.
Duke's Phoebe Brinker and Kentucky's Laney Frye co-lead individually at -6, Brinker with one hole left to play in her second round and Frye with three left in hers. Each of the top six and eight of the top 10 players entering Tuesday are in Golfstat's individual top 100 in the country.
Tiffany Kong leads Princeton and is tied for 28th overall at +3. Fellow senior Grace Ni turned in an eagle during Monday's first round, making the par-five 13th hole in three.
