Six Tigers Earn College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Recognition

Six members of the Princeton women's soccer team were announced Tuesday as having earned Academic All-District recognition from College Sports Communicators, formerly the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
Seniors Kamryn Loustau, Grace Sherman and Morgan Wiese, juniors Jen Estes and Aria Nagai, and sophomore Tyler McCamey were Princeton's honorees. Each school was limited to six honorees, with those chosen needing to appear in at least half of the team's games, meet a GPA standard, and be either sophomores, juniors or seniors.Â
Loustau, a defenders and one of the four team captains this season, was the lone Tiger on the team to start all 17 games, helping Princeton hold opponents to a 1.35 goals-against average. Loustau is a religion major.
Sherman, a midfielder/forward and also a team captain, earned honorable mention All-Ivy League while playing in all 17 games and starting 16. Sherman had two goals and two assists on the season and is a student in the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs.
Wiese, a defender and one of the team captains, played in all 17 games and made 15 starts, helping a back line that turned in six shutouts this season. A civil and environmental engineering major, Wiese earned her first career point on an assist in the Oct. 22 game against Harvard.
Estes, a midfielder, played in 12 games and made seven starts before missing the final five games of the season to injury. An economics major, Estes had two assists on the season.
Nagai, a midfielder who earned honorable mention All-Ivy League, played in 17 games and started 12, scoring her first career goal early in the season against Fairfield. Nagai is majoring in computer science.
McCamey played in 15 of the team's 17 games in goal, going the full 90 minutes nine times and shutting out the opponent in eight of her 15 appearances, accruing a 1.17 GAA.
