Day One Recap
ITHACA, N.Y. – The Princeton University women's swimming & diving team wrapped up competition at the Cornell-University of Pennsylvania tri-meet Saturday at Teagle Pool.
Eliza brown won the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:19.44, and finished seond in the 200 IM after touching the wall at 2:05.28.
In the 200 medley relay, Sabrina Johnston, Jaime Chen, Alexa Pappas and Ela Noble finished third in 1:44.89. Wheeler also took third in the 1,000 freestyle, clocking in at 10:21.87.
Megan Reich earned a third-place finish in the 200 freestyle, finishing in 1:52.57, Margaux McDonald was third in the 100 backstroke (56.23) and Johnston third in the 100 freestyle (51.69).
McDonald earned another third-place finish in the 200 backstroke, touching the wall at 2:05.16, while Emily Appleton also took third in the 500 freestyle in 5:02.51.
Princeton also finished third in the 400 freestyle relay, after Johnston, Reich, Amelia Liu and Heidi Smithwick posted a time of 3:27.73.
In the team scores, the Tigers fell to the Big Red 179-121 and the Quakers 154-145.
