Day Two Of Big Al Invitational Has Men's Swimming & Diving Sitting In First

PRINCETON, N.J. – Day two of the Big Al Invitational saw the Princeton University men's swimming & diving team remain in first-place with 848.50 points, Saturday at DeNunzio Pool.
The night began with a second-place finish in the 200 medley relay, with the team of Tyler Hong, Kael Mlinek, Nicholas Lim and Max Walther finishing in 1:26.10. The quartet of Brett Feyerick, Joshua Brown, Lucas Tudoras and Adell Sabovic also finished fourth with a time of 1:28.07.
Princeton had three make it through to the A final of the 100 butterfly; Hong finished third in 47.35, Lim fourth in 47.38 and Tudoras eighth in 48.05. Finn Dowdall also took 14th, with a time of 48.73.
In the 400 IM, Raunak Khosla earned an NCAA B cut and a first-place finish after touching the wall at 3:44.88. Lucas Strøbek also earned an NCAA B cut, finishing second in 3:46,79, while Peyton Werner was fifth in 3:51.65 and Hunter Kim eighth in 3:54.54.
The 200 freestyle saw the Tigers claim the top-two spots and seven out of the eight spots in the A final, with Mitch Schott coming in first with an NCAA B cut time of 1:35.12 and Max Walther second in 1:36.05. Lim came in fourth after clocking in at 1:37.00, Max Hunger fifth in 1:37.24, Sabovic sixth in 1:37.29, Billy Swartwout seventh in 1:37.72 and Tudoras eighth in 1:39.47. Porges also finished 10th with a time of 1:37.33 and Ehling 15th with a time of 1:39.64.
Mlinek clocked in at an NCAA B cut time of 53.57 to finish third in the 100 breaststroke, and Brown 54.20 to finishing sixth. Pan also finished 10th in 55.17.
Hong earned an NCAA B cut in the 100 backstroke, finishing fourth after clocking in at 47.41. Feyerick also posted a time of 48.18 to finish seventh.
On the 3-meter board, Taso Callanan finished second with a score of 354.50, and Joe Victor took seventh with a score of 327.55
Princeton ended the night with a 1-2-3 sweep of the 800 freestyle relay; Lim, Khosla, Schott and Walther finished first in 6:23.86 while Strobek, Tudoras, Porges and Hunger finished second in 6:30.93. The team of Werner, Swartwout, Kim and Sabovic came in third, clocking in at 6:23.84.
