Women’s Tennis Earns 4-0 Victory Over Columbia at ECAC Championships

ITHACA N.Y. – The Princeton University women's tennis team earned a spot in the final at the ECAC Championships Saturday, earning a 4-0 victory over Columbia University in the semifinals.
Princeton won the doubles point; at No. 2, Maia Sung and Grace Joyce defeated Jennifer Kerr and Shivani Amineni, 6-4, while at the No. 3 spot Neha Velaga and Stephanie Schrage earned a 6-1 win over Clarine Lerby and Sophie Strugnell.
In singles, No. 24 Victoria Hu took down Akanksha Bhan 6-2, 7-6 (6-4), while No. 63 Brianna Shvets outlast Jennifer Kerr at No. 2, 4-6, 6-2, 6-2. At the No. 5 position, Stephanie Schrage defeated Rachelle Rimondini 6-0, 6-1.
