NEW YORK – The Princeton University men's track and field team will aim to win its seventh-straight indoor Ivy Heps Championships at the Armory in New York. A win would be the Tigers' 23th Ivy indoor title and its ninth since 2010.

In their most recent outing this weekend at the Alex Wilson Invitational and the Princeton Invitational, the Tigers set an Ivy League record in the distance meter relay and added three top-10 school performances.

The team of Ethan Reese, Michael Phillippy, Sam Rodman and Sam Ellis crossed the finish line with a time of 9:23.20, smashing the previous distance meter relay record of 9:27.74. The foursome's mark is also the seventh fastest time in the nation.

Meanwhile, Kaden Reynolds (6.78) ran the sixth best time in the 60-meters, while Taraje Whitfield (8.10) is now tied for tenth all time in the 60-meter hurdles. Finally, Will Drury (5.20 m) landed himself ninth all-time in school history in the pole vault.

At the 2020 Heps, the Tigers won their sixth straight Ivy Championship and their 23rd overall. The orange and black won seven events, setting a new Ivy League record in the 60-meter hurdles and delivering two top-10 school performances.
