Huang Ties for Medalist Honors at Ross Collegiate

Princeton freshman William Huang tied for medalist honors at the Ross Collegiate on Tuesday at Mid Pines Golf Club in Southern Pines, N.C., earning his first tournament championship as a Tiger.
Huang tied with North Carolina's Kenan Poole at -6, finishing Monday's suspended second round on Tuesday with a 5-under 67 and adding a 2-under 70 in Tuesday's scheduled final round.
Max Ting had the team's third eagle of the tournament on Tuesday, getting that on the par-five sixth hole after Huang eagled the par-five fifth in the first round and Guy Waterhouse did so on the par-five sixth in the first round.
Seton Hall won the team title at +9, four shots in front of runner-up Elon at +13. Princeton finished tied for 10th at +37. The Tigers cut their team score each day, from 24-over in the first round to eight-over in round two and five-over in round three.
