Women’s Tennis Edges SDSU 4-3

SAN DIEGO, Calif. – The Princeton University women's tennis team began their West Coast road trip on a high note, defeating SDSU 4-3 Tuesday night at the Aztec Tennis Center. With the victory, the Tigers move to 4-7 on the season.
The Tigers secured the doubles point, as Brianna Shvets and Nathalie Rodilosso knocked off Nnena Nadozie and Regina Pitts 7-5 in the No. 2 spot, while Stephanie Schrage and Skyler Grishuk downed Alicia Melosch and Cécile Morin 6-3 in the No. 3 spot.
In singles, Zoe Howard handled Nnena Nadozie 6-2, 6-2 in the No. 2 spot, and Maia Sung got by Julia Jordan 6-3, 7-5 while in the No. 5 spot. Finally, Michelle Sorokko outlasted Cécile Morin 6-4, 4-6, 6-2 in the No. 6 spot to claim the 4-3 victory for the Tigers.
