Seven From Women’s Track & Field Qualify for NCAA East Preliminary Rounds

FULL LIST OF NCAA QUALIFIERS
INDIANAPOLIS – The NCAA announced its qualifiers for the Division I Outdoor Track & Field East Preliminary Rounds Tuesday, and seven members of the Princeton University women's track & field garnered selection.
Seniors Rylie Pease and Caroline Timm, along with juniors Maggie Hock and Tia Rozario, sophomores Kate Joyce, Annika Kelly, and freshman Siniru Iheoma will each head to Bloomington, Indiana, from Wednesday, May 25, to Saturday, July 28, for the East Preliminary Rounds.
Pease, competing in the javelin, will be making her third appearance at an NCAA Regional as she also qualified in 2019 and 2018. Her mark of 46.34 meters from the Raleigh Relays stands as the No. 37 mark in the East Region.
Timm qualified in the1,500 meters, an event where she ranks No. 25 in the region, with a time of 4:17.52 from the Virginia Challenge.
Hock will also be competing in the 800, where her time of 2:05.14 from the Princeton Elite Invitational ranks No. 24 in the region.
Rozario, who was an also an NCAA Regional qualifier in in the triple jump 2021, ranks No. 38 in the region after a leap of 12.74 meters at Outdoor Heps.
Joyce, an NCAA Regional qualifier in the javelin in 2021 and the Ivy League Champion in 2022, ranks No. 12 in the region with a mark of 51.96 meters at Outdoor Heps.
Competing in the discus, Kelly's mark of 60.67 meters ranks No. 32 in the region.
After a heave of 15.58 meters, Iheoma, the 2022 Ivy League Champion in the event, ranks No. 42 in the region in the shot put.
The seven Tigers will compete at the East Preliminary Rounds from Wednesday, June 25, until Saturday, June 28, in Bloomington, Indiana.
