Laudenslager Earns Third Ivy Weekly Pitching Honor

For the third time this season, Princeton junior Alexis Laudenslager is the Ivy League Pitcher of the Week.

Laudenslager had the wins in two of the three games of the Columbia series over the weekend, giving up just an unearned run on four hits, two walks and three hit batters across 11 innings, striking out 21 in that time. Including a five-inning midweek outing against Rider, Laudenslager threw 16 innings, all without allowing an earned run, giving up five hits and six walks with four hit bbatters, striking out 26.

The week lowered Laudenslager's season ERA to 1.96, best in the Ivy. Laudenslager also leads the league in opponents batting average allowed (.189) and is second to teammate Ali Blanchard in strikeouts (128).

Laudenslager's performances helped Princeton clinch the outright Ivy League title. Princeton will host either Harvard or Dartmouth May 13-14 in a best-of-three series for the Ivy League's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.
