Hu, Frayman Open in Round of 64 at NCAA Singles Championships

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Daria Frayman and Victoria Hu of the Princeton University women's tennis team opened play at the NCAA Singles Championships in the Round of 64 Monday at the Khan Outdoor Tennis Complex.
No. 4 Frayman fell, 6-4, 6-4, to No. 51 Carson Tanguilig of the University of North Carolina. Taking on No. 50 Salma Ewing of the University of Southern California, Hu suffered a 6-1, 6-4 loss.
Frayman, who sat at No. 1 in the national rankings, and Hu, who completes her first season of college tennis, will be back in 2022-23 and look to build off the Tigers' Ivy League Championship and their run to the NCAA Championships.
