CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – No. 32 Ryan Seggerman & Justin Barki of the No. 40 Princeton University men's tennis have had a spectacular run in 2021-22. but it came to an end in the Round of 16 at the NCAA Championships, Wednesday night at the Khan Outdoor Tennis Complex.
Taking on No. 4 Cleeve Harper and Richard Ciamarra of the University of Texas, the Tiger duo fell 6-3, 6-4.
"Credit to the Texas team they played well and handled the gusty conditions better than we did today," said Head Coach Billy Pate. "We missed on some pivotal points where we had some opportunities but didn't quite make it happen. Nonetheless, I'm very proud of Ryan and Justin and we will miss them immensely. This pair, along with the rest of our seniors, were great representatives for our program while setting a great tone for our culture. We look forward to the fall and we're ready to get to work for next year."
