Frayman, Hu Qualify For NCAA Singles Championships

INDIANAPOLIS – The NCAA announced its selections for the 2022 Women's Tennis Singles and Doubles Championships Tuesday afternoon, and No. 3 Daria Frayman along with No. 37 Victoria Hu of the No. 42 Princeton University women's tennis team garnered selection.
The singles and doubles championships will take place in Urbana-Champaign, Illinois, immediately after the team championships from May 19th – May 22nd.
Frayman, who became the Ivy League's first player earn the nation's No. 1 ranking, has a 21-7 record on the season and has defeated fifteen ranked opponents, including five ranked inside the top-15. She finished as the Runner-Up at the ITA Fall National Championships, and was the ITA Northeast Super Regional Champion in both singles and doubles, where she teamed with junior Grace Joyce.
Hu has a 23-12 record on the season, and wins over 11 ranked opponents, and won the consolation final at the ITA All-American Championships in the final.
This will be the Tigers' first appearance at the singles and doubles championships since 2014, when Alanna Wolff gained selection.
