Four Tigers Earn WGCA All-American Scholar Honors

Tiffany Kong, Kyung Eun Lee, Victoria Liu and Emma Zhao have earned WGCA All-America Scholar honors, the coaches organization has announced.
It is the first honor for rising sophomores Lee and Liu, the second for Kong, a rising senior who was also recognized in 2020, and the third for newly graduated Emma Zhao '22, who earned the honor in 2019 and 2020.
Kong, an economics major, played in every event and had six top-10 finishes, led by a win at the Lady Blue Hen in the fall after back-to-back runner-up finishes at William & Mary and the Princeton Invitational in the fall. Part of the Tiger lineup at both the Ivy League Championship and the NCAA Regional, Kong had stroke average of 73.85 between the fall and spring season.
Lee, who is considering a major in the humanities, was a second-team All-Ivy League honoree after tying for 10th overall at the Ivy League Championship. That was among four top-10 finishes on the year, led by a runner-up finish at the Hoya Invitational in the spring. Lee had a stroke average of 74.67 between the fall and the spring and was part of Princeton's NCAA Regional lineup.
Liu, a computer science major, was the Ivy League Rookie of the Year and won medalist honors at the Ivy League Championship to earn first-team All-Ivy League recognition. Liu led Princeton in four tournaments and posted six top-10 finishes, also winning medalist honors at the Low Country Intercollegiate to start the spring Liu led Princeton at the NCAA Regional, tying for 14th overall and finishing the 2021-22 season with a stroke average of 73.19.
Zhao, a co-captain, completed her degree in operations research and financial engineering this spring. The team's Academic All-Ivy League honoree for the Zhao competed in five events and finished with stroke average of 77.08 over her final year with the Tigers.
