2022 Fall Schedule
A visit to Baltusrol Golf Club for the inaugural Ivy Intercollegiate highlights a four-tournament fall schedule for the reigning Ivy champion Princeton women's golf team, with the Tigers set to begin with the annual Princeton Invitational in September before the Evie Odom Invitational in Virginia, beginning at September's end, followed by the Ivy Intercollegiate and North Carolina's Ruth's Chris Tar Heel Invitational in October.
The Ivy Intercollegiate features a 12-team field including all six Ivy League programs and six from the Atlantic Coast Conference, with Notre Dame, Clemson, Florida State, Miami, North Carolina and N.C. State set to compete. Five of the six ACC teams were NCAA regional participants this spring with FSU making the NCAA quarterfinals. The event, set for Oct. 10-11, will use both the Upper and Lower Course, with each course having hosted a U.S. Women's Open in its history.
The schedule will begin with the Tigers looking to defend their title at the Princeton Invitational (Sept. 24-25) at Springdale Golf Club in Princeton. Three Tigers who finished in the top 10 in that tournament, including runner-up Tiffany Kong, Yu Kyung Kim (third) and Victoria Liu (t-fourth), return for Princeton in the fall.
The schedule will continue at the Evie Odom Invitational, hosted by Old Dominion at Princess Anne Country Club in Virginia Beach, Va., as September turns to October (Sept. 30-Oct. 2). Princeton last competed in an ODU-hosted event four years ago, during the fall 2018 season.
Following the Ivy Intercollegiate, Princeton will wrap the fall season at North Carolina's Ruth's Chris Tar Heel Invitational, set for Oct. 17-18 at UNC's Finley Golf Course.
