Women’s Track & Field Honored as USTFCCCA All-Academic Team

NEW ORLEANS – The Princeton University women's track & field team was honored by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) as an All-Academic Team Wednesday afternoon.
In order to be a USTFCCCA All-Academic Team, all student-athletes on an institution's NCAA Squad List for Indoor and/or Outdoor track & field must be a 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale. The Tigers had a 3.34 GPA.
Additionally, seven Tigers were named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team; Hanne Borstlap, Maggie Hock, Kate Joyce, Rylie Pease, Tia Rozario, Caroline Timm, and Madeleine Wood.
To be a USTFCCCA Scholar Athlete, student-athletes must have a GPA of 3.25 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Other criteria includes having completed at least two semester, finishing the indoor season ranked inside the top 96 in any championship individual event, or in the top 48 in any championship relay event. For the outdoor season, student-athletes must have participated in any round of the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
