Meyers Helps U.S. Win Gold At 2022 Maccabiah Games

JERUSALEM – Abby Meyers helped the United States won the open women's gold medal at the 2022 Maccabiah Games yesterday.

The United States went undefeated en route to the gold. The U.S. defeated Israel by 25 and 32 in the round robin portion before taking down Australia by 27 and 29. In the championship, Meyers registered a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds while adding four steals. For the tournament, Meyers averaged 18.4 points per contest.

Meyers was the unanimous Ivy League Player of the Year during one of the greatest seasons in Princeton Women's Basketball history in 2021-22, earning AP Honorable Mention All-America status, making her just the third Tiger to earn All-American honors.
